I LOVE dogs and I wish I could take my dog everywhere but there are safety reasons dogs are not allowed in most stores such as allergens and people who may be anxious around dogs and in a food place there's no guarantee someone's dog wouldn't drool on the groceries it's not personal
Sainsbury's is a supermarket/grocery store, depending on how you want to identify it.
A store that sells consumer pre-packaged foods, as well as fresh foods like meat, fish, dairy and fruit & veg.
It is massively unsanitary to bring a dog, or any other pet into a grocery store. It is also a violation of Sainsbury's company policy, as well as that of every other grocer.
Additionally, it is also a heath code violation in the UK, the US and just about every other industrialized nation on the planet.
You can probably blame irresponsible pet owners for that... but it's just still unsanitary regardless.
