I feel like germans censor swearing less than (for example) Americans. So they wouldn't have to worry as much about "being caught"?

I don't know, but I do know that english is popular and cool in a lot of places, prompting people to swear in it.

We do say "fuck" a lot. And "shit". But apart from that, we mostly still swear in german. Oh wait and "fuck you".
