For every decision you make, two equal universes get created, one where you do option a, and one where you do option b. The problem with this post is, if the theory is true, then the universe where it doesnt exist is impossible, because, well, it exists. And, don't say "what about a universe where someone visits our universe?" because, if you think about it, we can only be conscious in 1 universe, which is one of the universes where said person does not visit our universe. Make sense?
More properly, everything in the universe is composed of a set of fundamental particles that are simultaneously waves. As waves, they have a probabilistic nature and could potentially be observed in essentially an infinite series of different locations and times with different properties at the same time. Each of these observations is correct, and to reconcile this with physical laws that make sense, an infinite series of universes may pop into existence at each instance of time. All of these infinite series' of universes together consist of the multiverse.
Basically, ideas are universal, or rather, unimultiversal. Natural law can be thought of as part of the universe itself, or in this case, the multiverse. The multiverse theory isn't true within a universe, it's true for a multiverse.
It's simple really. Within the context of a universe, the multiverse theory is meaningless. That would be like saying that since there are virtually infinite planets, they must have a virtually infinite variety of climates, so there must be one without gravity. The multiverse theory is not dependent on what's inside universes, but their very existence. The multiverse theory lies outside of this idea that universes might have different physical laws. Planets might have different climates, but they all obey the same laws of gravity, the laws of our universes. And universes would obey the laws of the multiverse in much the same way.
That's not necessarily true. The different coupling constants (what governs the strength of the fundamental forces) are not obligated to be the same values in all universes within the multiverse. It is more likely that there are an obligatory set of universe where they take on every possible value. In addition, the number of dimensions, the types and number of fundamental forces, and essentially everything else could be different, thus yielding entirely different "laws of physics".

Really though, multiverse theory doesn't mean every possibility exists, due to said paradoxical situations and the fact that every possibility of every person entering every universe at every moment should exist. Rather, look at it as a range of numbers. If you count only every third number, you don't hit every number but still have an infinite number of different possibilities.
That's the thing. If every possibility exists, there should be a possibility for every universe to visit every other universe at every moment. But that would eliminate the possibility for a universe which you describe, where nobody travels to. The idea that every possibility exists is inherently paradoxical.
You're looking at it wrong. Universes are self contained, it not that every possibility in the multiverse exists, it's that every poiisbile uinivrse exists. And to each universe, the multiversevis irrelevant.
No, because it means that every possibility of humanity in an individual universe having progressed in a way that allows for interdimensional travel at any specific point in time, and the accompanying visits to other dimensions should constantly flood every single system with interdimensional visitors.

Why would it not be possible? Theoretically, the multiverse should operate by certain laws. It would be possible to work around those, if we found out what they are.
Now we wait for the science side of FS
