That is a problem of your country and not the world. But I envy you for your right to bear arms.

I don't really get the whole 'right to bear arms ' thing. I mean here in Australia, machine guns are flat out illegal for almost everyone, and there are very strict laws on regular guns. We've had I think one shooting and that was before the new laws went into effect nearly 20 years ago.

The gun ban actually increased the amount of guns in Australia.

Poor guy. He'll only be in for between 30 days to a year; not nearly enough to get proper medical attention. That's because he was charged for larceny, which is minor theft and not punishable by a sledgehammer to the face. If he vandalized/destroyed a mailbox or other federal property though, he'll have to face the feds and go to a (probably) safer prison because of the nature of the crime, and also be in for longer which was his plan.
