Coconut flour doesn't have the same properties as wheat flour. You may as well be using coconut flavored sawdust. Same goes with chocolate and cacao nibs.
Don't use coconut oil to cook with. It's 90% saturated fat. Use olive oil or extra virgin olive oil which is about 40-45%. Coconut oil doesn't help you lose weight, there's no proof.
Also with the Mayo..you can't replace it with mustard for everything! Imagine trying to make a tuna sandwich with mustard instead of Mayo. That would be vile.
Actually it's not good to cook with olive oil. It's better to use for dressings and stuff, because when heated it loses its nutritional value.
Heat, along with light and oxygen, can destroy the beneficial fats in some oils. Polyunsaturated fats are the most fragile and are not recommended for cooking. Coconut oil, being mainly a saturated fat, is able to withstand higher temperatures than other oils, making it one of the best oils for cooking.
Everyone complaining. Yes maybe they don't apply to every single recipe you have in mind but is a general guide to be healthier. Geez. Thanks for caring guest
Ever tried air popped popcorn? It tastes like Styrofoam. Also on the salt, table salt has iodine added because our diets are deficient, but sea salt and all these other fancy salts don't have iodine added so you could easily be deficient in the iodine.
