I've heard him say things that would call this into question. Like how if we were going to put that much (more than a mere 10 months) effort and money into terraforming Mars, we'd be much better served improving Earth.
Exactly. We need a new bogey man to challenge the political leadership to get motivated to support NASA properly.
They will never do it for its own sake, they are so shortsighted, that the only thing they worry about is the next election cycle to stay in power and what they need to do to keep it.
Yep.
Right after "The White House" builds The Wall, creates affordable healthcare for every American, and kicks it's addiction to twitter, it's gonna colonize Mars. ;)
There's plenty to be concerned about in that article. More than I'm willing to get into. I suggest you read it.
I can't say I was surprised to read that Drumpf seems to want to invest in space only to sell property in orbit and on the moon, rather than for scientific purposes.
I can think of things other than failure.
I can also not immediately start baselessly accusing another president of being a failure simply because he wasn't on my "team". Just like I can avoid accusing someone of having mental issues simply because they have the capacity to be concerned.
I never judged his whole presidency.
Do you even realize how judgemental that rant was towards me? It's almost like you concluded you know where I stand on every issue or something...
P.S. I read an article you linked, AFTER you stated that you didn't bother reading it, and this victim act is what I get for it? Selective memory on how republican leadership treated Obama included, as usual. This is why real discussion rarely happens here.
It always makes me laugh when people tell me Obama got little done, completely forgetting recent history.
And again with the self-aggrandizing/personal attack one-two punch of yours. Sadly there's nothing behind it. Far be it from me to stop you, though. ;)

I think Congress instead just approved $33 mil. or so so that NASA "can get a man on mars by 2033"
