You do realize that because the Harry Potter movies already exist people can watch them at anytime. They run most of the movies on TV every other weekend. So it's not like they wouldn't be able know of her.

But a kid would normally first watch Beauty and the Beast since it is intended for a younger audience, whereas the Harry Potter movies are for an older audience which makes the kids first see Emma Watson as Belle and afterwards maybe as Hermione
