He bought the sword (I think) from the wizard and afterwards the wizard said that it was cursed to hold on to however wielded it for eternity.

Same chapter, and then he somehow lost his arm in recent episodes. Damn, i'm kinda old and i still watch cartoons

Most recently, the arm left again and became some sort of sentient grass version of him. I think to replace it he got a metal arm.
