I'm putting together a four part/disk playlist/mixtape I'm calling "The Greatest Road Trip Ever" and it's following the same idea. If it sounds good, it goes on it. It will have, but not limited to;
Part one (general road trip tunes)
Life is a Highway, Rascal Flatts; Perfect Day, Hoku; The Calling, Yes.
Part two, second wind, (harder edgy stuff)
Name of the Game, The Crystal Method; Shut Up and Drive, Rhianna; Turbo Lover, Judas Priest; Ace of Spades, Motor head, Bad Girls, M.I.A.
Part three, night-time boardwalk cruise, (Chill, Funk, Trip & Hip Hop)
I Can't Stand the Rain, Missy Elliott; Green Onions, Booker T & the MG's, Pepper, Butthole Surfers, Bloody Well Right, Supertramp.
Part four, sunset drive home, (acoustic hangover music)
Burning in the Sun, Blue Merle; Take the Long Way Home, Supertramp.
So, all that said... do you fine folks have any suggestions?
No, me too. I'm a metal fan, and a fellow metal fan was insulting me cos I listened to Nicki Minaj (that time). I told her I listen to deathcore etc. and asked her if she didn't realise that people do not just like one genre. She replied 'well, I do'.
But it's change after I understand the lyrics

idk. Maybe my eclectic tastes were too much for them to handle.
