I love a little bit of most genres but a lot of rock and heavy metal

I am similar but I hate pop

I used to be like that.
But it's change after I understand the lyrics

That's literally the point of music

I'm putting together a four part/disk playlist/mixtape I'm calling "The Greatest Road Trip Ever" and it's following the same idea. If it sounds good, it goes on it. It will have, but not limited to;

Part one (general road trip tunes)
Life is a Highway, Rascal Flatts; Perfect Day, Hoku; The Calling, Yes.

Part two, second wind, (harder edgy stuff)

Part three, night-time boardwalk cruise, (Chill, Funk, Trip & Hip Hop)

Part four, sunset drive home, (acoustic hangover music)
Burning in the Sun, Blue Merle; Take the Long Way Home, Supertramp.

No, me too. I'm a metal fan, and a fellow metal fan was insulting me cos I listened to Nicki Minaj (that time). I told her I listen to deathcore etc. and asked her if she didn't realise that people do not just like one genre. She replied 'well, I do'.
