Woman Attacked for Running the Boston Marathon in 1967 Ran It Again, 50 Years Later

Because she dared run in the marathon while being a woman. It was men only.

In that first photo, only one of the men is attacking her, and he was the race organizer. The other runners are protecting her from him.
