The idea of giving birth, spending millions of dollars on an ungrateful child, and then getting attached as they move away sounds horrible. No kids for me, thanks
That's true, but most kids don't appreciate what their parents have done until they're like 16+

Oh please, I have a dick and I know first hand how bad menstrual cramps can get.
Because of all the tears I cried when I asked my sister's how it felt.
Some people believe that the epidural fucks with the baby, and I've known some women who claim their " epidural spots " have side effects like it gets really cold when it rains or something ?
Plus some people just prefer the thought of going natural or their peers say they should do it so they do
I had heard that the epidural effects where more uncomfortable, like feelings of slight lower body paralysis, kind of like the feeling of your foot falling asleep but in the whole lower half of your body. I'm sure it's only a few weeks after the shot, and probably different for every woman.
I have personally had an epidural and can say it was the most wonderful thing ever! Yes your whole lower body feels paralyzed but you can still move your legs. They feel heavy. The effects wear off a few hours later and barring any complications you won't really experience any side effects afterwards. The most common side effect is a spinal headache. Which is caused when a tear forms in the dura (the layer the numbing medicne goes under) which can cause spinal fluid to leak causing a headache that gets worse when standing and better when laying flat.
Well, the average cost of having a baby with an epidural and my insurance is $3,000. I had no epdural and it cost me about $900. Plus with an epidural you can't go to the bathroom by yourself after, there's a higher risk of uti, and it can actually slow down your labor. PS, I'm not a "natural only" person. The epidural sat at the end of my room just in case, but I was blessed with a 4 hour labor.
