There are some legitimate medical scenarios where even limiting your caloric intake won't necessarily help. The flaw is how their bodies process the calories, instead of using it properly it converts almost all of it into fat. Those people have to tread a fine line between careful monitoring of their diet and exercising enough to burn the fat without placing their bodies into distress. But yes, for 99.9% of the people out there you are absolutely correct.
Chronolingeric uticaria is one of the conditions that can stop you from exercising without getting itchy rashes and a burning sensation across your body. Luckily although it is horrible, it's usually only temporary. (Source: my own experience with stress hives from exercise and exams)
Well there are people with a really fast metabolism and people with a really slow metabolism. So it's easier for some and harder for others. But life's not fair so grow the fuck up and stop blaming other people for your weak ass will.
Edit: Also do work out, big muscles need more maintenance calories which means that the bigger muscles you have, the more calories you burn even by doing nothing. Muscled legs and butt are the best calorie burners.
By telling people not to bitch and actually do something with their lives AND giving them tips on how to do it? Holy shit, I don't know which planet this "logic" comes from but it sure as hell ain't this one.

You said people should not blame others for their problem. Which nobody did here. Then you said nobody should blame his parents for their genes. Which Nobody did here. That makes you the only person in this thread blaming people (who are not even present here) for something nobody even did. Is that considered logic on your planet?
No...uh i think ewqua is talking about people the post addressed in general. This is not really about this thread alone.

Oh ok, so if I said that it's not cool for anyone to suggest forcing morbidly obese people into fat camps until they have a BMI below 25, you would defend me as well?
@Ewqua be careful offering real solutions to problems these are snowflakes you are dealing with..
They sit at a computer eat garbage and complain why they are fat ... it's like talking to wall

Yea, or they're able to read, that#s an annoying habit.
@halfdeadhammerhead Yo dude, the question in the post specifically talks about genetics. So even though it's taken out of context, we can assume they were talking about that. Plus, it was mostly the overall situation I was talking about.
Also, why bring up fat camps out of the blue? Nobody mentioned those.
@cactuscake Thank you.
@heybooboo Agreed.

First of all: "'It's really hard to exercise'' definitely is an incredibly stupid thing to say in this context. If it wasn't hard, how would it work? Having said that: to some (and before you start throwing a tantrum, please re-read and try to grasp: *some*) people telling them "it's just a matter of willpower" is a bit like telling someone suffering from depression to lighten up and not be so moody. Some people compensate stress and frustration by eating way too much and telling them to maintain a proper energy in/out management will solve their problem is not only missing the point but in fact the opposite of helpful. Not saying these people cannot loose weight but it's not always that easy.
They are lazy and full of excuses... oh it's to hard .... or a thyroid issue yeah your thyroid quit working properly because once again you are lazy ...
Do you even know anatomy......or what the fuck you are talking about? It is a medical fact that thyroid issues cause people to gain weight, and have issues losing it That might be one of the few legitimate excuses, though they can still work hard and try to get to as healthy of a weight as possible.
I know for a fact that people are born with thyroid issues, and the it's harder for them to lose or maintain weight. There are also people how find it hard to gain weight because of their thyroid. My sister is one of those people, and she was to work twice as hard as me, a teenage guy to stay fit and not get fat.
since you know for fact that they are born with thyroid issues.. and if you pulled your head out of your ass you would realize I'm not doubting that... what is that percentage of one's born with it Mr know it all
And it's going to be their own fault so I won't care
