The bottom line is that it's cherry picking of data.
At first blush, some data sets would *seem* to imply that there is a wage gap, but the extremists take this as fact without verification or evaluating it properly, as it supports their agenda.
When a proper evaluation of the data takes place, directly comparing age, time in position, training, experience and accomplishments, the "gap" vanishes.
In fact, it has been shown that women actually OUT EARN the men in some career fields.
Comparing young men to young women entering the workforce for the first time after graduating college, women on average earn 8% MORE than men in 147 out of 150 cities in the study. In two cities, Memphis Tennessee and Atlanta Georgia, that gap is 20% over men.
in a recent study out of yale university they submitted two of the EXACT same resumes to different professors with the slight difference of one had the name jennifer on top and one had the name john and you know what happened ? every single person they submitted it to all said john was better qualified and offered him on average $4000 more than jennifer ... but it was the same resume? but no there's nothing wrong at least we can vote right?
Cite it. Provide a link. When you start talking academic studies, that's science and science has data.
Show me the data. You have made the claim, now back it up.
