It's probably cause no one cares if your post hit trending ? Even then people can downvote for whatever reason they want you don't have to get pissy over it

They're allowed to celebrate if they want man. Nothing wrong with that. And I don't believe they're being pissy, they just want to know why they're being down voted.

Yeah no, they always get pissy when someone dislikes their comments

When it's for no reason or for stupid reasons like the time I got down vote stormed by people who apparently support child "discipline"(abuse)

People can downvote you, dude. There's a dislike button for that very reason. No one owes you an explanation for why they didn't like your comment. Maybe they don't agree with you, maybe they don't like you, who knows, but you don't have to get mad and make it seem like an issue because someone disliked a comment of yours. You'll write more that'll get many likes. You can dislike back if you know who it is, but that doesn't make you any better than them.
And sometimes people dislike your comments because from what I've seen, you kinda come off as an asshole when trying to get your point across

Just random ones here and there. I'm gonna be honest, unless I'm in a convo with someone I forget the specific post after a couple of hours. Like I remember I argued with you on another post with you for the same disliking comment reason but I can't remember what that post was for the life of me, it was a few weeks ago though.
