What exactly is wrong with this? I mean, he's not working in a sweat shop or anything. He's developing a good work ethic, and saving money now so he won't end up spending more on the long run, and yet people are shooting this down, because it shows that there are ways that you can get an education without getting free handouts from the government.

Yeah that may be true. But it's kinda shitty how school has become so expensive that one would need to start working at 7 years old in order to not have to go into a ton of debt just to go to school

I see what you're saying, but I would just like to say that that is simply how life is. You'll always have options and you have to weigh the pros and cons of each, and then make the best decision that you can. This boy is acting for the future, which is great! There are others who like to enjoy the present, even if it means that they work a little harder in the future, which is equally fine! It simply comes to where your priorities are and how you want to live.

Y'all are making good points, but it's so hard to take this conversation seriously because it just looks like one person chatting to themselves

Because everyone under the age of twelve knows they need to start saving for school immediately...

My 6 year old sister doesn't even know you have to pay for schooling, I see flaw in that logic.

i'm not an expert on kids but i kinda always had a feeling that 7 year olds should worry about playing and eating their veggies, not starting companies and paying future college fees.
