I feel like there are some kids out there at around 13 years old these days who are mature enough for dating. As long as they know it won't be sexual, they don't have high expectations, and know it probably won't last. Only SOME, though.

Being aware of your good points is not cocky. On the flip side, being aware of you bad points doesn't mean that you're super insecure and depressed.

Being aware is different than telling someone.
