There used to be one of those trees at the entrance to my street and now it's been cut down

A tree in my backyard just dropped a ton of these. I still let them twirl sometimes. It's calming.

I love these! My siblings and I would have competitions to see who could catch the most

Since everyone is sharing stories, I have one of these in my front yard. My niece absolutely loves it. I usually take a handful, 15 or so, and throw them into the air all at once.
Her face just lights up, then she runs around and tries to do it herself. It's the cutest thing I've ever seen.

They're from Maple trees. Big Leaf Maples in my neck of the woods. We call them helicopters.

I remember going for a long weekend one school week, and the day we came back everybody had a spinner
