Okay kids, let's have a lesson about dominant and recesive genes! Brown hair is dominant over blonde hair BUT (here's the exciting part) both parents can also carry the recesive gene for blonde hair. If both parents carry the gene for blonde hair a kid with blonde hair can be born!

Also, in my experience blond hair can sometimes turn brown later on.
