I heard people actually made this a diet. They took sleeping pills because when you're asleep you won't be hungry. Some even slept for 20 hours

Fasting isn't bad. It can actually be really healthy, cleanse your system, and boost your metabolism. Plus weight loss. You just have to do it safely.
