Great post, honestly. On Tumblr. Here it's just padding each others backs. How about a few people here try that switcher-joo game with words like feminist or SJW?
There are people on Tumblr who say stupid things about cis/white/hetero people, and it's a good and meaningful thing to address that - on Tumblr. Posting that kind of stuff here is just adding to the fingerpointing at "that place" and is essentially meaningless. Why not address the people here who hate on feminists (not even using a term like feminazi) and discriminate anyone speaking out for solidarity as neckĀ“bearded weirdo who needs to shut up, get their head out of their ass and kill themselves. That's basically the same thing.
You have every right to address what you feel that issues are here on here, but a lot of us would rather not address that stuff ON TUMBLR because rather than have a debate or even a normal argument, they harrass you, send you death threats, and dox you and put all of your personal information out there just because you dared to disagree.
Also, on here hardly anyone takes it to the Tumblr degree if they disagree with them and telling someone to kill themselves is most likely against the fs rules anyway soooo yeah

The sole purpose of this posting is to unite and nerve the Anti-Tumblr folks here in their hate of Tumblr, just see the headline. Sort of trying to create a "we vs. them" scenario. That's pointless for various reasons. Y'all know that funsubstance started as a Tumblr blog, don't you? Well... you probably don't. When you say Tumblr, you mean the fraction of a percent of people there who take things to an unhealthy extreme. I'm pretty, pretty sure the person who wrote the quote above targeting those people didn't get doxed or even harrassed, but his/her point probably wasn't exactly invited where it was posted. Still s/he stood up for something and tried to make things better at the place s/he was at, and at best this started a discussion. Reposting it here is just sucking up to the usual suspects here.
No one here gates Tumblr, they hate those people and it's just easier to say Tumblr than be specific every time. Also I'm pretty sure quite a few of us actually have tumblrs of our own. Also, what you're saying doesn't make sense. So we make fun of the dumbasses on Tumblr we're obviously " anti-tumblr " and unite our hate of Tumblr, yeah no that's not the case. That's like saying someone who finds fail compilation videos funny is someone who's a sadist.
Ever heard of systemic racism/discrimination my dude? It's what happens when a society hates a group of people and thus words against them could lead to actual harm if anyone chooses to follow through. A few tumblr people saying "oh I hate cis people" is not going to cause cis people to be killed or hurt in any way. Saying "I hate the Jews" for example or making tons of holocaust jokes normalizes violence against a minority and there have been several bomb threats to synagogues and cemeteries defaced in the last year, so you can't just say all those jokes online about concentration camps and stuff haven't really affected anyone. There have certainly been a few situations that go against the model of systemic racism we have in America (can't remember the whereabouts but some white guy was stabbed by a few black people for being white) but generally a few people saying they hate white/cis/male people doesn't actually systemically harm that group of people
