Well lookie here, Herschel. It looks like we've got ourselves someone who wants to tell us how to use proper 'murican spanish. Listen here, in 'murica, words mean what they say we mean. In your ching chang chong mexican spanish, lechuga probably means lettuce or some other non-fat-filled, non-meat, hippie-lovin' thing. Here in 'murica, Lechuga means never give up. I know fer a fact one of them fire-fightin' fellers in the twin towers on 9/11 said this and it's the only reason he got out alive. Are you tryin' to tell me that a 'murican hero is wrong?
