Climbing mount Everest can cost upwards of $100,000 for a good expedition company. aside from that this climber, Mark Inglis, is very experienced in many other previous mountains. Lastly, while he did summit, he did need help on the way down. Everest is not a, "whats you excuse" type of thing. It's incredibly dangerous, expensive and should only be done by those who have the ability to do so. Ironically one of the biggest issues facing the mountain now-a-days is inexperienced climbers thinking trying to conquer the mountain.

Not everyone likes exercise, and not everyone needs to exercise. As long as you are declared physically healthy by a doctor, you don't need an excuse to not workout.
