This is a really good movie about a white author who wants to write about black nannies and maids in the south.

The book is amazing too- totally worth the read. One of the few where both the book and movie are well done

I've seen this around a lot, but I've never seen the movie. Can someone please explain to me why she baked her shit into a pie and gave it to her? Was the white girl a racist?

She used to work for her. She was a nanny for her girl if I recall it right. But the white girl was a total bitch and fired her.
