It would of been a good idea to double check to make sure she was single. But it was wrong of her to keep the doughnuts. She should of explained she had a boyfriend than hand back the doughnuts so he can eat his pain away.
He bought the donuts, it's not her responsibility. Giving someone a gift asking if they love you yet and when they say no you take it back or demand the money you spent on it, that's not how it works.
I agree that she is a bitch and sending a pic of her and her boyfriend eating them was bitchy as well BUT they were a gift of sorts. I'd even go as far to say that they were a bribe. Huh. Never thought of it like that. A bribe.
Sorry, but Holmes here played himself.
I'm getting a feeling that he was more of a creeper than anything else and probably shouldn't have been asking her.
If he really knows her well enough to ask, as in really knew her, talked to her on a daily basis and was her freind, he would have known she had a boyfriend.
How the hell do you ask somebody to prom if you don't even know them well enough to know if they have a significant other? Facebook is a thing. Instagram is a thing. Twitter is a thing. Girls mention their boyfriends pretty regularly if you actually converse with them. My vote is that this guy is a creepy "I'm just a nice guy being friendly, ha ha!" dude who she barely nods to in the hallway and tries to avoid 90% of the time.
