No matter what happens to her in court, justice will be served in jail. Inmates don't take kindly to those who have done something to children, especially in women's prisons.
Unless she's kept in solitary for the duration of her sentence, she'll be lucky to live to see the end of it.

So something like this would have inmates turn on the new person in prison?
Something like this would likely get them killed in prison. The newly sentenced inmate probably wouldn't get a chance to lie about it either. The guards would "let it slip" some way or another.
They tend not to split hairs on the details, but if it gets out to genpop that they are a child abuser, then their life will get real difficult in prison.

Well then I'll pass the word cause someone I care about needs justice for what she's been through
If I'm projecting or assuming here I'm sorry, but it sounds like you may be thinking about somehow contacting or communicating with another inmate at a facility in order to "spread the word."
It's dicey.

Oh no, I was merely going to tell her that her step fathers life could be ruined in prison for how he treated her
Found it, guys. This actually happened
