I once went to an American style diner in the UK and they used squeesy liquid cheese on my nachos.. It was offensive

"The phthalate concentrations in powder from mac and cheese mixes were more than four times higher than in block cheese and other natural cheeses like shredded cheese, string cheese, and cottage cheese," - the phthalate is not naturally in the cheese, it's from the plastic packing material. And the powder is a concentrate, so when prepared it probably has the same level of that stuff. Also, if boxed mac'n cheese is a basic part of your nutritional concept, why worry about that.
