I'd just shut them in their room. Out of earshot out of mind lol
I was the #AssholeAunty once because it started raining and I said we had to leave the park go home.

For the most part just leave them to it and ignore them (Unless you're in a restaurant in which case you should have left your kid at home with a babysitter preferably as they're obviously not old enough to behave properly and now you're just ruining everyone else's dining experience). It's the only way they'll learn.
I remember we were skiing once, and because of the climate it was the first time we had done this for a very long time. We started my little sister on it when she was 2 1/2 years or so, so we thought when we tried it this time, it would be fine. No. In 3 years, she had forgotten. After failing over and over, she took the skis off and marched away into the dry, snowless ground. (It's very hot where we live so the snow had to be gathered into trails). We couldn't chase after her because we were in skiis! She just ran almost all the way back to the car. At a certain point, because we couldn't chase her, we just let her run.
I'm an a$$holeparent because I put an orange towel on the floor when I got out of the shower not knowing it was my daughter's favorite towel. BTW she's 16.
The 2nd one made me laugh because when I was a kid (4-5 yo) my dad used to put me on his knees in the car and let me operate the wheel in the garden and park the car in the garage when my mom wasn't there. (He kept his hands near the wheel though just in case and the car was never even scratched).
