I bought some butterfly eggs, forgot about them, and opened them as they had built chrysalises. They survived and lived long lives.

Normal ladybugs usually don't, but the mutant asshole orange and yellow ones do. Those things are vicious and I hate them. They kill smaller asshole bugs though so it's for a purpose- but I still hate them.
