An investment for future happiness

paying my mom back is literally my only sitting goal in life. My dad joking/asking and I keep telling him he made his own bed (divorced my mom when I was 2 and now has 4 other kids).

I spent thousands paying for my parents debt. They have it easier now and my mom tells me she doesn't need the money but seeing them less worried makes me happy.

The only thing I'd really hope my kids have is strength and capability.
