Why not give them crops that already produce beta carotene?
They already grow rice becaue it's inculcated in their culture and converting fields to a different crop is a logistical impossibility.
They have all but admitted that they'd rather see 670,000 children die yearly from deficiency than admit they are wrong.
Well if a billion dollar company like Monsanto says its safe it must be true I mean look at Agent Orange they said that was safe and it all turned out fine. And company's like Monsanto and dow are going to lose billions of dollars making crops that don't need pesticides but that's how good these companies are.they truly care about people.
