Spaghetti noodles are $1 and sauce is like $2 for a small jar. Hot pockets are the same price if not more than that. You're an idiot.

True, but if that's what you already have the night before payday and you want something different, you improvise.

The thing is, I've often seen people complain about being broke and having trouble buying food, but those often (not always) seem to be the same people who don't shop properly. If you take the time to look through flyers, use coupons and buy responsibly, you can eat really well on a budget. Sure cooking is a hassle, but it's a lot cheaper than ready-to-eat-meals.
