That sentiment only goes so far. I respect the office of the President only so far as the person occupying it isn't a complete and utter dumpster fire.

I just hope he has enough people around him to stop him from making too bad of decisions
He's trying to run a country like he ran his business, and it's turning out predictably poorly. I have never seen somebody who needs such constant reinforcement that he is doing a good job.
Apparently everything has to go through Kelly now... so Kelly is the defacto president. It's not going to stop Trump from watching Fox News and tweeting.... but whatever.
Ironically the same kind of thing happened to Nixon where he had to get a few of the Joint Chief's approval. Defense and National Security Council IIRC? Might have been State, but the Secertary of State isn't part of the Joint Chief's. Idk... the point is, Nixon would get drunk and go on rampages commanding everyone to start bombing countries and they started waiting until he was sober before bringing it up again.
Nixon was a pill popping drunk... the irony that it was him who escalated the War on Drugs is irony x10.
You guys ask what Trump has passed like it's easy to get legislation passed in America. Anybody remember what President Obama passed? Healthcare reform. That's it. In eight years, he got one piece of legislation passed. President Trump has been in office for seven months.
Well, no, thats just the one everybody remembers. In his first 100 days Obama signed on 14 pieces of legislation. While I can't find an exact number, the White House Archives website has 134 pages, with 10 laws per page, of legislation that Obama signed into law.
Do you know how our laws are made? The president doesn't actually pass legislation, that is the job of Congress. The president signs and approves pieces of legislation, thus making them laws. A president can voice their approval for a specific bill, but ultimately congress has to pass it before he/she sees it.
y'all might as well not try to reason with him,,he will always be against obama cause that's what fox news told him,,history will be the judge,, and with what he accomplished with the obstructionist congress he had whos only agenda was voting against him no matter if he was right or wrong, he will be judge as far greater than this crybaby, thin skin, orange piece of shit we have now

"only agenda was voting against him[Obama]..."
Damn, it's almost like you didn't listen to the some of the most common things he's said. If you still think that, then how can you assume he's such a bad person
guest you do realize that for Obama's first 2 years he had a fully Democrat congress with a supermajority in the Senate? After that he had a majority in the senate for almost the rest of his term, it wasn't until the 2014 elections that they lost the majority, and that senate wasn't seated until the 2015 sessions. So to blame an "obstructionist congress is pretty disingenuous.
let trump be investigated for 2.5 years and then the actual hearings go on for 9 months; at that point pence is a 9 month lame duck.

Sexuality changing camps.
I know that they don't work, but many people go there to at least try to make it work. They can't accept themselves, and if they want to try to change, that's okay to me.

Well yeah, if people wanna go through that and believe that sure. But his stance is more "all gay people should do that"

Well its assumed because hes very homophobic and supportive of conversion therapy

Well, he's Christian, you literally cannot hate him for that. It's his religion, and those are his beliefs. For you to impose on him and make him change is wrong.

No, he chose to follow a religion with those views, he doesnt get a pass to be homophobic just because his religion says so, thats dumb

He was most likely raised with said values, and since he's an older man, he's going to stick by them. Not everyone is going to be atheist because it's current year. Also this country was literally built on religious freedom, not to rip on other religions or call them scams or anything like that.

Exactly, there is a freedom of religion. He chose this religion with those views, and just because he grew up that way doesn't mean he can't change. People don't get freebies to be bigots. It's his choice what he follows and he chose that. You can't just make excuses

But that's what I'm saying. He's not going to change. You and no one else can change him. He doesn't hate gay people, he just thinks that, for the best of them, they should be allowed to change to get into Heaven. You think that he was happy a bunch of people were killed in Orlando? He wants them to change because so they can become a part of the Kingdom of God. You may not believe that, but you can't change Pences ideas as long as they don't hurt anyone.

I didnt say he had to change, but it doesnt make him less of a bigot. It is his belief but thats the same as following a religion that doom asians to hell. Its not something you can change, but he chooses to believe so anyway

It's literally not the same as dooming Asians to hell. He doesn't hate the gay person, he hates the act. If he thought it was the person, he'd be advocating for this deaths.

So he just expects people to be unhappy for all of their life, which still isnt good. But whatever he cant do anything so i dont care
He wants them to have a shot at going to heaven. He believes that changing will make them happier. And like you said, he can't force anything either way.
He signed a bill that included elective conversion therapy as a medical expense eligible for state funding. Not sure how you people blew that out of proportion
oh my god he like totally owned him, by taking a jokey statement as a serious one, this is the funniest thing ever, im getting this on a tshirt...nah a tattoo

Do your own research instead of intentionally being ignorant
