Bad science jokes

I feel daft, because I love science.
But I don't get this joke

Capt buzzkill here! He'd have to drink large amounts of H2O2 over a prolonged amount of time before effects began to surface. So ya know... arrange your assasination plans accordingly.

I thought it was referring to how very pure H2O is deadly
