A lot of homeless people have jobs, but they can't afford housing

I applied to wal-mart half a dozen times. Only got hired that last time. Even when they're hiring it's not like they just hand jobs out to anyone.

It's hard for homeless people to get jobs because employers want to know if they can reliably get to work, have a car, have a place they live, etc. That's why it's important to help them get housing so then they can get a job. It won't necessarily stop the issue of homelessness, but it can lead to a better future for them.
