Well, at least you didn't waste any time doing basic research on any of these topics.

^^ Uber, Amazon and AirBnB killed old time business because customers are super cheap plus dumb enough to expect the same product for a much cheaper price. Apple did not kill music industry, they just found a way to milk their oblivious brainwashed customer base by adding 50% on their competitors asking price when music industry was already dying way before I-Tunes. Blockbuster died when there was enough bandwidth to download and stream flicks.

I would argue not being profitable is the biggest threat to any business.

And you can't make profit if you're shit to your customers

@geluregis you can but you just have to be less shit than everyone else. ex. Dish t.v. service.

American airlines, Atnt... Also, Dish TV is FAR worse than Directv, although better than basic cable... although if you go with basic cable you're an idiot... just get one of those antenna things and get twice as many channels for free.

There is nothing wrong with buying a full length album. It's how artists get heard.

Yeah, I kinda feel like the only people bitching about that one are people who like artists/bands that put out a decent single, then phone it in for the rest of the album.

Doesn't have much to do with being customer-centric considering most of the business are limited in human interaction in general. It has to to do with undercuting price and being more convenient. Which isn't always best considering Netflix is having trouble keeping its low price while offering its services. This also doesn't consider Redbox which does charge late fees as Blockbuster, but its cheaper than Blockbuster and their locations are more convenient for pickup/drop off. Eventually these businesses will be replaced by businesses that are more convenient for a cheaper price tag as well.
