It has no standard result in a dream.
Our brains shut down our ability to read when asleep. Instead, we imagine reading.
If you are dreaming, you may see a sign on a building and imagine reading it. Your brain is making it up as you go, though there is nothing there - not even a building. You may get the name of the building, and go about something else, but then go back to read the same sign, and you get a different reading. Your brain will imagine something new to read.
If ever lucid dreaming, test this. It's weird.
This applies to reading the result of a die roll in a dream as well. It isn't there, and changes.
Now you might dream of shooting craps at the casino and winning, or hearing the dealer say “21” at the blackjack table. That's not the same type of dream information as trying to read. Your brain still is using its hearing a bit, and language center.
Every vision in a dream is imagined.
