Take what you would of spent on a jacket and subtract it from what you will be spending on this jacket. If it is more than how much the jacket is THAN YES YOU ARE SAVING MONEY. If the cost of the jacket is more than you are over spending. It maybe on sale but it doesnt mean you saved money. Always remember this rule.
No. Always think about how much you are spending, not how much you are saving. Have a budget for everything you buy, and do not deviate from that budget. If the price is out of what you have budgeted for that particular item, it doesn't matter how much you are saving.
You save money only if ypu were planing already to spend a set amount but the item is less. Like I wrote down a week worth of food for the my family of 3 should cost me 60 bucks. But when I pay for everything I need it comes to 55 dollars. That means I saved 5 dollars. That 5 dollara can be put away for a later day or I can use it on a diffrent bill. I saved money on food so I can use the money some place else.
But if I plan 60 dollars and spend 70 I over spent by 10.
Now as an item. If I am in need for a jacket and I set aside 50 bucks. But when I get to the store I see a jacket that cost 40. I saved 10.
But if I am just out looking for nothing special and see a lets say pair of shoes I want and dont need that say 100 marked half off to 50. Than I just spent 50 bucks I didnt save 50 I didnt save anything. All I did was spebd 50 dollars.
But do remember you shouldn't live your life paying bills and living by the bare minimum that you need. If you dont splurge a little now and again why do you even care if your bills are paid. All you are doing is taking up space.
But do remember never over spend past what you can afford. Debt is a slippery slope that is hard to get off of.
Wow... That is... Surprisingly dynamic for this artist.
He was kinda stuck in the "same face copy pasted everywhere" thing for a while... Like Tim Buckley and his infamous B^U face, and "Loss".
Glad to see he's trying new things!
