They're not blaming the deaths on her clothing, they're saying that's why she was a target. Different things. Still does not make it ok.

Yeah sure, and when they attack a show from someone who dresses "correctly" then it's the lyrics, or a brand they represent or whatever else.... extremists don't really need a reason to attack so lets not try and pin the tragedy on whoever was hosting the show or event

Have you noticed the usual crap that the Daily Mail has been publishing for years?

No, I have not. I am not native to any english-speaking country. I honestly do not understand why this headline is considered controversial. Please explain the issue.

It's placing blame not on the attacker but on her and her attire

So it is a problem to raise the issue? Nobody needs to change their clothing because of this. The Daily Mail doesn't say that the killing could have been stopped if the audience as well as Ariana wore hijabs, but the killer might have thought like this. The tweet attached is irrelevant. Someone got triggered. Big news. Thank you nonetheless!

Islamic extremists fucking hate womenand americans so yeah I could see that as the reason they targeted her, you know since she's a scantily clad empowered American woman. Obviously this isn't her fault but maybe that's what the article meant. I haven't read it but its possible that they were saying that's the reason she was targeted...
