Well, they seem to be flat at the top and are built in ways as to spread all weight of the top over it evenly. They seem to go in a path, not curving too much, while maintaining the same width and distance between one another. There also seems to be rubble all along it indicating that there was another structure on top of it going the whole way across. There are areas along the roadside that seem to indicate that an ancient method of traveling was done via carbon-based fuels.
