Unless the fat person is closely related to you, your s.o., or your close friend, it's not your business. You don't be mean to people who smoke just because it's bad for them. And you don't give tips for quitting to total strangers.
Yeah, don't be mean to smokers just because it's bad for them. Be mean to them because it fucks up the air for sensitive people like me. I don't care if you want to kill yourself. I'll give you a loaded gun if you really want. Just don't make me deal with the bullshit that comes with it.
When you point out to people that smoking causes cancer, 90% of the time A) you know that person and B) that person does not have cancer, and C) you're actually commenting on the smoking. When you point out to people that over-eating makes you fat, 90% of the time A) you barely know the person, B) you're not actually commenting on the overeating, you're being snide about their actual weight, and C) you have no idea what ACTUALLY caused said weight.
Perhaps he means on how it's portrayed in the media, such as the smoking ads that show the warnings of smoking as oppose to the subject of weight gain or weight loss commercials. People view things on how it's primarily portrayed then analyzes on how they themselves portray them.

I beg to differ, I get annoyed every time somebody tells me that smoking gives you cancer.
