These sound like feel-good advice but are mostly really terrible. You do need to be responsible, not to put things off just to feel good, not to make a mess & leave hair all over the bath. That's just gross.

That's so it won't go down the drain and clog it. You're supposed to wipe it off and throw it in the trash when you're done
