Rick does not give a shit about anything that doesn't affect him. That's why he's so popular as a character. No politics, no desire to change the world, no social commentary.
Changing that fundamental part of his character would only serve to alienate a massive part if the show's audience.
I don't give a shit. The slightest intention a politicizing things that aren't political needs to be rebuked. Otherwise, people with different views will have even less in common.
Every change starts with one person saying "What if-".

Yeah cause the creators seeing this random guy's /joking/ statement on twitter is gonna make them do that
And you ranting about it on a different website is going to counteract that
Creators listen to their audience. Jokes have gotten out of hand before, and voicing dissent really does counteract changes. If there's nobody arguing, why wouldn't the idea be accepted?

Because I think the creators of a good show that know what is and isn't a joke. And I think they'd be smart enough to not change their entire demographic just from one tweet. It would be horribly ignorant. Also, I think the creators know what's best for the show
Universal healthcare only works in Scandinavia because of their low population~!

Well, people aren't going to just stop making jokes, just because it's about a show you like. I suggest not ranting every time someone does, because it seems like a waste of time and will probably annoy everyone around you, but it's not my place to tell you what to do

And I'm worried that it won't stop at one tweet.
But that's like the FS community's favorite pasttime!
