My sister is a paramedic and she told me once that she was transporting a women who was catatonic and hadnt spoken a word in years. She and her parter were loading her into the ambulance and the woman turns to them and says, "Y'all are going to get in trouble." My sister walks back into the hospital ,startled, and tells the nurses that the woman spoke. The nurses replied completely unenthusiasticly, "Oh. She hasnt done that in awhile."
