I hate people that do tricks like this with vapes it is making it seem like a cool thing and potentially enticing kids into it and not a method of quitting smoking
Why not both? There are liquids without nicotin. I vaped too even if i'm not a smoker. It's tasting good and it's relaxing. And yes. It is cool. The main idea is to stop Smoking, i know.. But why others are not allowed to have fun with it? It's nice, even if you don't smoke. Just because you vape, this don't mean you start smoking. I vaped without nicotin and didn't started smoking or get addicted to it. It's nothing harmfull or bad in it. In germany you are not even allowed to buy a electric cigarette if you are not 18..not even nicotin free liquids. So childs can't just buy this stuff easy without help.. I think the chance that they gonna smoke is higher than that start vaping.
If i could buy cigarettes at 12 then there will be no problems for other kids getting them with or without nicotine, there is a real risk that they could start vaping and that leading to smoking. I hate the fact that it is all over youtube and the Internet in general it is encouraging children to try it

let think about this: why (as a child) i should buy e-liquids if i could just buy normal cigarettes? liquids are expensive.. you can vape like 10ml in like 3-4 hours.. and 10ml are like 10-15€.. do you really think childs gonna use e-liquids instead normal cigarettes? i think not.. mostly because the high costs & you can't buy liquids everywhere like cigarettes.. AND you need a usb charger every few hours to charge your battery etc.. normal cigarettes are a lot more easy to use if you ask me. + cigarettes are more easy to hide from parents.
by the way.. just because someone starts vaping, this don't means he start smoking. i don't smoke, but vaped for a long time without have the need / interesst in smoking. smoking taste bad as hell.. vaping not. i think if a child would first vape and then try smoking..the chance that they smoke again is low.. because it taste bad. liquids for e-cig's can have several good tastes.. cigarettes not. i think e-cigarettes could even prevent smoking.

Eliquids are cheaper usually a single bottle can be less than £3 cigarettes are much more expensive a 10 ml bottle lasts me a couple of days but i guess that depends on usage and there are ecigs smaller and thus easier to hide many are not much bigger than a pen so easy to hide and from personal experience my ecig lasts most of the day but again depends on usage and capacity of the battery used

i can just talk for myself but most people (who i know) who start vaping are using more of liquid than when they would smoke the same amount in cigarettes. because the liquid is tasting good & you can nip on your e-cig every few minutes / seconds, a few ml are easy consumed without thinking much about it. i don't know how much cigarettes do cost @ your location, but where i live liquids are costing more than cigarettes. exception: if you make your own liquids.. but most people don't do that (and childs wouldn't start mixing their own liquids imho). and i mean yeah.. some ecigs are small.. but the childs need to charge the batterys.. and the chance that they get caught while that is i think higher than when they smoke outside of the house. at the time i had a cheap ecig i could use it for like 6-7 hours before i needed to recharge it, but some ecigs have a bigger amount of power usage (=more steam).. so i don't know how long this ones would last.

If they charged it at night then the parents probably wouldn't know and in the UK eliquids are ridiculously cheap i can buy 4 bottles for £10 so £2.50 each and there is a store in the UK called poundland everything is £1 and they sell non rechargeable ecig batteries the tanks and eliquids for a £1 each

Something like that maths was never my strong point so something like 4 to 5 times more expensive than they are in UK
As a current vape user and former smoker I can tell you that even with the cost of equipment vaping is close to one tenth of the cost of smoking quality brand cigarettes. The idea, however, that someone is going to make a move from vaping to smoking is extremely unlikely.
Smoking tastes terrible but our minds will tell us not to notice because of the nicotine reward. Once that reward is available without the nasty flavor it no longer ignores it. Part of the way you stop smoking is do both and after a few days the cigarettes just taste horrible and you lose interest.
I'm guessing anyone who starts vaping and then tries a cigarette would be less likely to switch than a non-vaping person would be deciding to start.
