They have been highballing you. Here in Dallas they literally use them as prison food (just w/o the cheese and lettuce. In the jails they don't deep fry them though so they taste like ass. Also my ex-step-dad works for them. These things both turn a profit, and usually lure people into getting a drink, increasing profits even further since most fast food places rely on drinks to turn a profit.

Were you expecting me to expect them to deep fry them? I'm not an idiot... I know it's a prison... It's a waste of oil to fry them. All I was saying is that unless they are deep fried they taste like ass.

The drink prices have changed though. Fast food places, it's not the food that makes the money. It's the fountain drinks. The food is there to get you to buy soda. Even when food makes money, it's pennies. Drinks though, a medium costs 5 cents, a large 7. They make bank on those.
