Leaf decomposing in a pond became completely transparent

I've seen this before after feeding lettuce to fish, they eat the fleshy parts and leave behind the fibrous vascular tissue.

When I was younger I thought they were fairy wings, or that a vampire had sucked out the colour.

it's the same scientist's do to put human cells in there to build artifical organ. first you extract the plant cells, then you can put human cells in there and let them grow. scientist build human ears from apples this way.
