Why is it bad advice? It’s kinda sweet of her. Well, unless the dad was actually a bad guy and he’d treat the kids bad. Other than that, it’s really sweet
But by giving up custody that means she doesn't want to see the kid anymore and that is further proven when she says "restart life and do shit the right way."
She viewed her kid as an accident and dumped him on her baby daddy in the guise of kindness
That’s true, I didn’t see that side. So I guess she’s kinda just finding an excuse to look sweet while getting rid of her responsibilities? That is pretty trashy of her.
Well I mean, if she's gonna just completely give up custody, then she shouldn't be around her kids anyway if she can just give them up so easily. They deserve someone who cares, and maybe their dad and his new girl will actually appreciate them.
She doesn't want to have kids, so she sent them away. It is fully within her rights. It is immoral to force someone to take care of children - immoral in forcing the person to care for another and bad for the child as child abuse is a likely conclusion.
Also odds are high depending on the state or whatever, if you give up one kid and later have a custody dispute with another parent it looks extremely bad on you. My ex learned this the hard way, when she lost custody of her first child and then my case came around she lost that one too on principle.
Like, my take from this is I dont give a fuck as long as the kid is taken care of. That woman is a shitty person, but now the child can have a better mother
