Favorite campfire treat: take a banana and slice it in the middle, but not in half. Stuff it with brown sugar, chocolate and marshmallows. Wrap in tin foil and let it sit over the fire (on a grill) for about 5-10 min and make sure to turn it. Take off the grill, unwrap and dig in with a fork. Enjoy!
Also, take a Japanese sweet potato, wrap it in wet paper and tin foil, then just bury it in the coals and ash. 30 minutes later, you have a roasted sweet potato. Regular potatoes take less time to cook and tend to burn.
