Not after pushing a human out of your vagina, or having it cut out of your stomach. At least not in my experience

I think it depends. Even though I had an epidural with both, I was out of bed within a 30 mins after my 2nd kid. First kid took me 3 hours to get out of bed. Bed was lumpy and I couldn't get comfortable. Felt the need to move.

My daughter was 10.7 pounds, 21 inches ling and I was in labor 27 hours. I didn't want to get out of bed for 3 days.

It is because my 2nd child was 10lbs and 2 oz but then again I was in the last stage of labor for only three hours. Damn we got some big ass kids.
