And it's not really necessary that everyone breaks up on terms like this. A lot of people break up and still be nice friends.

While others break up, the one moves on with his life, while the other one tells new lies on facebook by the hour. (She's even been called out for it by people who know what she's like) every relationship is different and some end like a rain storm while others go off like a super nova. In my case with things like that I cut as many ties as possible, will burn, booby trap or flat out destroy bridges and start clean slate you won't even get the time of day from me let alone a second glance or text/call. I actually broke up with my ex via a typed eviction notice sent registered mail I don't piss around!

i'm divorced, but me and my exwife are good friends, better than a couple, and our friends, divorced, separated or not, can't understand why. it's because we have a son, a link, and he's never been unhappy and never heard arguments from us, about us.

Don't get me wrong I do not bad mouth my son's 'mother' in front of him, and seeing as I have full custody and she only gets supervised visits when she feels like playing pretend mother-of-the-year and its convenient for her. (long story short abuse/neglect involved from her) my son understands that he has a mother and that she made mistakes. when he's old enough I'll explain those mistakes but it was not and never was his fault that she has issues and despite her being out of the picture, we (me and him) are very much a normal family. I just choose not to interact with her because she will turn anything violent for no reason at all and my child does not deserve to see that.
